    Description

    The Rugged Advantage bagless backpack vacuum cleaner is fitted with a powerful high suction vacuum motor that delivers exceptional cleaning.

    The vacuum uses multi-cyclone filtration technology to provide consistent vacuuming performance. The HEPA Motor Filter provides filtration efficiencies to that of a surgical mask.

    The machine is premium quality, light weight, commercial construction and uses impact grade antibacterial plastics to resist dust adhesion, aid cleaning maintenance and prevent bacteria propagation.

    Advantage is fitted with endurance sweat guarded tough nylon fabric covering, resilient foam padding, loop over frame contoured shoulder pads, hook and loop fastened back pad, and extra wide double stretch elastic, hook and loop waist padding for added comfort, and tools free replacement.

    The smart quick exchange cord restraint, reduces cord stretch.

    The “crush proof”, smooth bore, antibacterial hose promotes air flow and eliminates smelly bacteria growth in the hose corrugations. The stainless-steel rods, resist corrosion and are lighter to use.

    Advantage Mega Pro is supplied with a 38cm wide Mega Gulper Pro floor tool. Vacuuming with the Mega Pro is 30% faster, that provides the highest dirt pickup rate (g/hr) of all the floor tools in the Advantage vacuum range The Mega Pro Gulper floor tool, is suitable for removal of large bulky materials on both carpet and hard floor. The 36cm wide hard floor tool supplied in the package is suitable for both tiled and timber floors. The tool provides a sweep action while vacuuming, and the brush bristles enables dust removal from tiled grout lines.

    Emptying the dust bin is a press of a button. Maintenance of Mesh Filter, is by wiping using the micro fibre duster. Motor filter maintenance is by tapping out loose dust, then rinsing for full refurbishment.

    Advantage Mega Pro is suitable for vacuuming medium sized light commercial, domestic premises, Shops, Offices, Home Cleaning, and Apartments.

    Warranty

    Vacuum cleaners manufactured by Rugged Industries Pty Ltd are to the highest quality standards. We encourage you to care for your product and follow the instructions in this manual, and in turn you will benefit with a product that provides performance and long life.
    The following statement is a requirement under Australian Consumer Law and applies to consumer sale of goods and services. In this statement “Our” means Rugged Industries and “you” means original purchaser.
    “Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure”
    In addition to guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, Rugged Industries warrants the Advantage vacuum cleaner and model variants against faulty material and/or workmanship for a period of one year, from the date of purchase by the consumer, when operated and maintained in accordance with the instructions in this Manual.
    The following explains conditions and what to do in the event of a claim:
    Rugged Industries or authorized Service Agent or person will replace parts determined as faulty, but this does not apply to normal consumable, wear, and rotating parts that require replacement under normal use, including but not limited to rubber parts, filters, hoses, power cords, floor tools, dusting brush, crevice tools, upholstery tool, tool caddy, turbine brush etc.
    Warranty does not cover any machine or component that has been altered, abused, neglected, modified or used with non-genuine Rugged Industry components.
    Warranty does not cover damage by transportation, freight, delivery, product return, accident, misapplication, improper service or maintenance, blockages, vacuuming water or bulk powder, moist carpet, use or other instructions not in accordance with the instructions in this Manual.
    All repairs and servicing during the warranty period must be carried out by Rugged Industries Pty Ltd or authorised Rugged Industries Service Agent or person. Rugged Industries Pty Ltd or authorised Service Agent may request you to complete a Warranty Claim / Stock Return Form or other similar form before returning any goods. All reasonable expenses associated with any transportation in returning goods for a warranty claim are the consumer’s responsibility, and in all instances the product is transported at the owner’s risk.
    Rugged Industries will not be responsible for cost of repairs or damages caused by unauthorised persons.
    Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period and proof of purchase must be supplied with the claim.

    REFUNDS

    Please choose your purchase carefully as a refund may not be provided if you simply change your mind. Repairs, refunds or exchanges will not be accepted or provided unless the goods are faulty.
    Products purchased cannot be returned without prior written confirmation from Rugged Industries Pty Ltd
    We endeavour to process all refunds with 7 business days of approval.

    CHANGE OF MIND

    If you simply change your mind, and the product(s) are unopened and still in their original packaging, you may return them to our warehouse within 30 days of purchase at your own cost less a 10% restocking fee. You must call Rugged Industries Pty Ltd prior to returning orders for instructions on how to do this.

    RETURNS

    If
    • A product is damaged or faulty through no fault of your own and you can provide evidence of the damage / fault;
    • Incorrect goods were supplied.
    Rugged Industries Pty Ltd will, upon return of the product, offer you a refund, repair or exchange in accordance with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 within a reasonable time if you are able to provide a receipt or other satisfactory proof of purchase

    CUSTOMER REQUESTED RETURNS

    Please consider carefully your request for product return for performance loss. Service fees and freight charges will apply if in the sole assessment of our service department, product performance loss is contributable to inadequate maintenance, lack of filter replacement, product negligence, misuse, or inappropriate application.
    If in the assessment of our service department part failure is not contributable to inadequate maintenance, lack of filter replacement, product negligence, misuse, or inappropriate application, and the vacuum cleaner is returned cleaned, parts, labour and return freight will be provided free of charge. Cleaning fees apply for vacuums returned in a dirty condition.

    CORRECT USE AND MAINTENANCE

    1. Do not fill past the MAX level marked on the bin. The Max level is marked below the perforated Mesh Filter in the back ground which forms the air path to the internal cyclones that provide fine dust filtration. The Mesh Filter must be kept clean at all times to ensure sufficient airflow for cyclonic filtration.
    2. Clean the Mesh Filter using the duster provided each time you empty the bin. Refer to the video.
    3. The Motor Filter is located under the Bin. Remove Motor Filter cover to access. Clean the Motor Filter by rinsing both sides until the rinse water is clear in colour. Re-use the filter when it is completely dry.
    4. Please read the Instruction Manual supplied with the machine.

      Great vacuum cleaner
      I purchased the Rugged backpack vacuum cleaner to replace my Pullman drum vacuum which died and was ridiculously expensive to repair. The backpack cyclone option is so easy to use and empty. The extra long electrical cable makes it great to work in large areas. I clean big homes and have the vacuum in use for up to 2 to 2.5 hours at a time. I love that I can get around with ease in any home and transporting from my car to the job it’s always on my back…..too easy! Incredible value for your money.

      Great Value For Money
      Great light machine, handy for both large open and call centre environments in commercial setting. Our unit is used to clean 2000m3 every second night. Older filters get about 3-4 uses when washed out but be prepared to change filters regularly to maintain power and suction. Easy to clean and if looked after maintains suction and power. Company have been great to deal with and consumables and parts are easy to order and arrive in a timely manner.

      What can I say I just Love this vacuum cleaner it is so quiet, light weight, easy to clean, NO more dirty bags to deal with,it has the most comfortable harness where you can attach all your tools.
      You can have as a right handed vacuum or a left handed vacuum by turning the barrel around to suite your needs, also their customer services is very helpful with any problems you have.
      As a cleaner in a very busy Kindergarten I would recommend this vacuum cleaner.

      Simply the best!
      My family bought it as a gift for me…by far this is the best, I use it for our home, it picks up everything including all the cat hair and dust. We have wooden floors and carpet and it works brilliant on both. The sucction is amazing and the backpack style helps me to manage my bad back as Im not constantly bending over. The long cord, multiple heads, the numerous removable filters it comes with is bonus AND the approachable, communicable, thoughtful and helpful customer service has been the icing on the cake. Im over the moon with this product and highly recommend it to everyone for either home or work. Move over Dyson, there is a new kid on the block!!!       I Love it!
      I just wish to say that of all the companies I have ever used this one has been amazing, to say they went above and beyond is is an understatement!
      The initial advantage bagless I bought had some issues but with the new filtering system and motor it is awesome, the suction is super strong and emptying the container is easy and the cleaning wand gets anything left behind.
      I am now a very satisfied domestic cleaner and it serves me well, I love it!

      Vacuuming now less of a chore
      For some time I have wanted an environmentally friendly bagless, backpack vacuum cleaner & I’m very happy with my new Rugged Advantage machine. It is light & the harness with its wide elastic Velcro waist strap is very comfortable. Suction is excellent & it is quiet. It is so much easier cleaning around furniture, ceilings & stairs, than with a drag-along machine. If people find the cord a bit long for domestic use, it can easily be exchanged for a shorter extension cord. Emptying & cleaning the canister is easy, but best done outside as it can naturally be a bit of a dusty process. The company have been very good to deal with & I’m happy to recommend this machine to other reluctant vacuumers!

      I would like to thank you for your great vacuum, I am not a big person and worried it would be too difficult for me to carry. I am so happy that it is not too heavy and is much easier than my previous traditional vacuums to operate. I love the long cord which enables me to go up and down my stairs easily. I also like the suction strength which works equally well, on my wooden and carpeted areas. Also happy that replacement parts are easily available and that the machine is made in Australia.       I have been a commercial/industrial cleaner for 12 yrs. I have been self employed subcontractor for 9 of them. I have purchased and used various brands of backpack vacuums over the last 12yrs. I have been wanting a bagless vacuum for quite some time as I am over the cloth and disposable bags.

      So my Rugged – Advantage Ultimate Turbo Combo Bagless Back Pack Vacuum Cleaner has turned up on the 25 June, 2020 and i gave it a burl at home. Then off to work I went with it.

      Love the tool caddy idea. This is a fantastic way to keep all 3 tools in reach whilst vacuuming. And three different vacuum heads is great. The gulper (floor tool) will be mostly used. Although i may use the power head (turbine brush) on particular jobs sites for their carpets. Suction is great. It’s an even suction and doesn’t seem lessen when there is dust, paper etc in canister.

      The only thing I will fault is the backpack straps. They are not wide enough nor thick enough for support over the shoulders. Maybe this is something Rugged Industries can review.

      Otherwise I am extremely happy with this vacuum. So much so that I will definitely be purchasing a second vacuum cleaner. Something I have never done before as I have never been fully happy with previous purchases of other backpack products.

      I will definitely be recommending Rugged Industries vacuums to others.

      I have never left a review for any vacuums before so Rugged Industries well done!
